The BB16 cast was revealed today, and so far it's all newbies. There are 16 of them, so it's actually rather unlikely that there are re-runs coming later, despite all the rumours. As far as the family members rumours, the only family connection so far is that Frankie is the brother of Ariana Grande. This is actually rather annoying as her fans are already starting to invade the BB world. With the added twist of TeamAmerica this is particularly problematic. The first TA vote is about which HG "we" would form an alliance with. I'm concerned that this is going to go the way of Bristol Palin on Dancing with the Stars where people who know nothing about the show start voting for things just to support the famous relation. Let's hope not.

We do have a number of re-run names, including Hayden Voss, not to be confused with BB12 winner Hayden Moss. Most of them are 20 somethings, as usual, with a few early 30s. There's a token "old guy", who honestly looks to me like he belongs on Duck Dynasty. The vast majority of them were apparently recruited, and a few have never seen BB. I didn't watch the interviews yet, but if I get bored over the next few days I may give them a glance. Most of the feedback I've been seeing is cautiously optimistic that they're a promising cast. Let's hope so.
