You know that joke where a guy goes up to a woman and asks "If I give you a million dollars, will you have sex with me?" She says yes, then he asks "If I give you $5 will you have sex with me?" She responds "No! What do you think I am?" He answers, "we've already established what you are, now we're just negotiating the price."

Mike Boogie has said and done horribly disprectful things to/about Erika, far worse than she knows. But, she does know. However, she seems to be willing to continue to compromise herself for a shot at a half mil. Just a shot, mind you. As I said earlier, I don't think she wins, so she's probably walking away with 50K. But if she fights for HOH, wins and takes Janie to the finals, she also gets the 50K, plus she gets a little of her dignity back.

I suppose I could give her the benefit of the doubt and say she's just trying to lull him into a false sense of security by promising to throw the comp. and she will really play for it and take J. if she wins. If that happens, my respect for E. will jump tremendously. But if she throws it....

I know it's easy for me to say, sitting at home, that yes 500K is a lot of money, but self-respect is truly priceless. I've been thinking about this and it's really not just about wanting to see Janelle win. I won't deny that I want good TV, and a B/E F2 is the least interesting option. But I also hate to see any woman allowing herself to be treated as Erika has been. It was bad enough when she didn't know it. Now it's just sad.
